Are you more likely to respond to a discussion if it has a picture atatched? Or does it not make a difference to you? If the user does not have a personal avatar will that make you any less likely to respond? Or if you don't like the picture they have chosen for whatever reason? Are you more likely to respond to users with a higher number of responses? How do you choose which discussions to pass by and those which you answer? Hehe! Am in a curious mood today!

As I respond to all my friends' discussions through my email notifications I dont get to see the photos unless I look for them, so no It does not influence me in any way. After I have posted my response I check out the picture and usually rate it.

I don't care much of the picture attached into discussion, but i do care with the topic posted. If the topic caught my interest then i will respond. In searching for discussions honestly, i look for my friend's discussion first since it is quicker for me to reply and i already know which of them has the same interest as mine. I don't care weather the discussion has existing response or had chosen best reponse, or started with new user. I really does care with the topic of my interest.

I answer to discussions that I feel I can respond to , weather or not they have a picture attached , personal avatar or a higher number of responses doesn't matter . I try to answer any discussion I can but there are some that just don't make sence or maybe I haven't seen them or I don't know how to respond as I don't know what they are talking about because I have never had the experience before . There are so many discussions being put up so fast that I realize that good topics are being passed so I like to check out the person I am answering to see what other discussions they might have started awhile ago and try to answer those as well .

I rarely look at the pictures. I respond to things that interest me and to which I feel I can make a valid comment. The pictures really don't interest me all that much although I must say from a glance some of them are very nice.

I don't tend to put much stock in what picture they have posted. I tend to respond to questions where the title draws me in to the topic. If the title isn't intereseting enough, I tend to skip right by it. I use the pictures more as a way to remember someone that might have answered a question that I had out there before.

No, I am not sure that the picture is a big benefit. More looking at the topic and questions. Have a wonderful day.

No friend. I respond to discussions not because of the picture attached to it, but the nature of that discussion. I choose discussion I want to respond base on the topic of the discussion. Thanks

I think we are in agreement it is the content of the discussion rather than the visual aspects.

Well i will tell ya i like the saying in your pick that is just to cute lol. For me the most part i look at that discussion titles and that will prompt me to whether it is something i can respond to or not. For me if you want to catch my attention for response not need for anything else than to see your discussion with and informative title. It saves time for me i dont have to go into a discussion just to find out i have nothing credible to add to it. I have dial up so every second seems like hours lol.

Usually I don't mind pictures and avatars and just respond to what I like and can relate to or have something to say about, I prefer to respond to my friends discussions either they have photos or not and with time I feel that i know them and how they look would not make a difference. But to be honest, sometimes some avatars or photos attached to a discussions may catch my eye and make me respond while going randomly around the mylot site.

I have all of my friend's notifier's turned on...so each discussion they begin goes straght to my email.....I try to go through them every day and respond to any comment that has been made to my discussions first, then I begin at the end and work backwards....I do not always respond if I have nothing to add...or if I have no interest.....occassionally I get into a mood or life gets hectic and I do not get to spend much time here...and on those days I miss many good discussions,,I am sure.... If I complete all of my friend's responses....I look through the new discussions...this is one of the ways that I meet new people...then other is through reading the discussions and on the responses on the topic that are personal to me... Hope this helps, my friend...it seems to work for me..LOL

Gosh, Hun...I only answered part of your topic....LOL While I enjoy the avatars...some are quite unique....I also like the real people ones (like mine) and the funny ones....but the avatar other than entertainment purposes does not determine whether or not I respond to a discussion or not.... The number of responses does not affect my decisions either..... I only respond if I think I can add....something...advice, experience, a laugh, a tear, and friendship is extrememly important to me....

Any discussion that interest me I'm willing to answer even it has many responses, even it with or without avatar or pictures upload It doesn't matter to me. The most important things is I'm interested with the discusion and I can rely on it.

None of the things you mentioned facor in to the discussions I answer to. I mainly just go through a few different ones, and see if the topic is anything of interest to me, and if it's something I have time to answer at the moment. In all honesty, there are some topics that I won't get in to unless I have plenty of time, simply because, I can speak volumes on some things, and doubt that anyone wants to read that long of one. lol

I always look at the introduction and decide if I want to go futher to read the rest of discussion. I really seldom let the pictures or avatar influance me as far as the discussion goes. I will respond if it looks like I can contribute to the discussion. some times I'll see one and end up just reading all the responses and not get a response written.

This is a great discussion- A persons avatar does draw me to discussions- I don't care about a person posting a picture to their discussion- It also doesn't matter to me how many posts a person has made- the most important thing to me is the quality and topic of the discussion. If it grabs my attention and I can post a quality response then I respond. Great question!

Whether or not a discussion has a picture does not influence the likelihood that I will respond, nor does the presence of a personal avetar. I have a circle of myLot friends whose discussions I know will not be copied/pasted from other sites, will not be against the myLot guidelines, and will be interesting and fun! I start each day by answering those user's discussions. I avoid discussions that look as though they may be copied/pasted and those that have posted referral links or other guideline infractions. I avoid these as I assume they could end up deleted and I would use points.

I respond to the discussion because of the topic, not the picture. Although, I do love looking at them. Some people can come up with some beautiful or unsual ones. I love them. But the reason I pick a discussion is because of the topic. :-)

The pictures and the avatar make no difference to me... half of the time I probably don't even notice them. I just read through the discussions posted and reply to the ones I have any feeling about.
