which one is better

well personally i like dell, i have been using dell since 4 years now, havent have any complains! right now using Dell XPS M1210 its a real mean machine..if u are planning to buy one...do chk it out!

sony vaio is a better option if you are looking for a complete package.it is better build,sleek,great features,fantastic sony trademark sound and graphics.the only flaw is the high price.!so look into it

well i think sony is a very good company but when it comes to laptops i think dell has a upper hand i think that is the reason why i will def, prefer a dell aptop

I can't comment about Dell or Sony Vaio. I have been using a Toshiba laptop for about two years now, have been working very well. I am happy with it.

id def. go with a sony vail, thats what im on now and it is awesome, i bought it from best buy, you can go to geeks.com and get the same one that i have for about $550 bucks,

I am a computer engineer ...i look at the technical aspects for the price given...u can take a SONY VAIO if u are a casual user or even u sacrifice performance for looks really sony vaio looks great ( not as good as APPLE MAC BOOK though) ... and DELL is not that good in looks but still i love my DELL inspiron 1720 for its performance . i love the Sony VAIO of my Uncle's for its looks...DELL looks nice not bad... so if u want performance and above average looks go for DELL ...if u are looking for superb looks and above average performance go with sony....

I don't have either one, so I don't know. But, I've always wanted a Sony Vaio.

neither they both make up a large percentage of the pc repair market, if i were to chose i would go with HP or Everex just because they really know how to make a system

I've had both a Dell laptop and a Sony Vaio, I like the Sony Vaio a lot better than I like the Dell. It is a lot more expensive, but the Vaio is also a lot easier to take along to get work done not only when I am traveling, but when I just have to run into town or am visiting someone.

I would definitely get a Dell. I like mine and it has worked well for me. They are very durable and VERY dependable. Just get it with a very good processor. I did, and I love it. Vaio's are good, but they are fragile. Hope that helps.
