In many countries wearing a helmet while riding two wheelers is compulsory. In some it is only optional, Many head injuries and deaths can be avoided if every rider wears a helmet. Should the medical, para medical and insurance companies start a campaign to have helmets made compulsory in all countries and regions where it is not compulsory. Has anyone found wearing a helmet useful.

it should become a compulsary rule. the government should not be flexible to this, they should make it compusory and instead of taking of its benifits i think they should really show people images of people who were hurt when not wearinga helmet. i have a funny pic for everyone who use helmet and otherwise too

It is not the role of our government to protect one from oneself. The Declaration of Independence states that all men are, "endowed by their Creator with som alienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness." Being a free citizen of this country means being free to live our lives as we see fit, provided that we do not harm the person or property of another. It means bearing the responsibilty of one's choices and decisions. Motorcyclists have shown that they are no less responsible for bearing the consequences of their choices as any other vehicle operator.

I was in a motorcycle accident and I thank god that I and the driver were wearing helmets. I was the passanger and we accidently skidded out on some gravel. He was caught under the bike and spun around a few times. A speed limit pole stopped him spinning when he hit it with his head. So glad he had a helmet. Now as far as making it mandatory. I still believe this is a person's choice. I will never get on a bike, motor or otherwise, without a helmet. But I am not everyone. Perhaps there can be a clause in the insurance. They won't cover you as much if not wearing a helmet. Or something like that. BUt making it a law, I would not agree.

helmets are very useful in a sense that if any accidents happen at least the whole force acted on your head will be lessen by the helmet , right!?, so less injury, and i thought it is compulsory to all countries, but it is not...i know when you a two wheeler helmets are included, but you know people are still lazy, laziness conquers them they are lazy because they will not wear the helmets because of this because of that, laziness...and also helmets are essential to a rider..because every time you ride with that motor bike safety first..even if you are in a hurry!!^^thanks...
