Are you married to a Momma's boy?

If so, would you recommend that someone marry a Momma's boy or that they run for their lives?

sometimes i think i am married to a momma's boy let me tell you why. evertime i will suggest something to my husband he won't do it, but if his momma suggest the same thing that i said he will listen and it makes me so angry.

I understand completely - my husband does the same thing! And, another thing that makes me so mad I could spit nails is if I get upset and cry and he is like - turn off the tears and get a grip, but his mom can shed a few tears and the earth stops turning! Uuuggghhhhh!!!!

I don't know that I would call my husband a mama's boy, but it does seem like everything she suggests he wants to follow, and she DEFINATELY wants to keep thinking of him as her little boy, which is wierd because she married his dad when he was 11, and they had the worst relationship until he was like 20. You'd think she'd be okay with his independence after wanting to get rid of him (and I don't blame her for that, he was a jerk to her when she first married his Dad). I just don't think she can deal with the fact he is 24, married, and a father. NOT YOUR LITTLE BOY!! Okay, got that off my chest...

Most people think that it is harder for Daddy's to let go of their little girls - but, I think that it is mucg harder for Mommy's to untie the apron strings. Thanks!
