hospital holiday?

Most of hospitals are protesting due to the soon to be hospital policy that they should accept patients even those without money (who can't afford to even pay the deposits), in doing so, they are threatening to have hospital holiday...meaning they will close and would only accept emergency cases...
I say I don't agree with them although we know that hospitals are able to continue their transaction due to their patients money but aren't they supposed to treat patient no matter what their economic status are? there are other means than this... what do you think?

I think it is horrible that anyone suffering would be sent away from the hospital because they can't pay. We have had problems with the health care system here in Canada too and they have had rotating shutdowns of health services. We have a shortage of Doctors too which doesn't help. I think those of us that have should help those that have not and it all works out in the end. No one should be turned away.
