How are you able to get on myLot if you can't get on any other web page? Or, are you logging in from somewhere else to post this question. Is there something you are doing differently to get on this page as opposed to other pages? That might be something you should look into.

Are you talking about not being about not being able to get online? What pages are not found. I might be able to help you with this but your information is vague. Do you have a duel boot is that why you were using 98?

well if you are browsing the internet and you are getting messages saying the page cannot be displayed and you have tried going to a few different websites then you have not set up your internet connection properly. Depending on how you are connected to the internet you should try going through the steps you normally go through to connect your computer to the internet. If you connect directly to the internet through a modem then try setting up the connection again using any installation guide you were given by your isp, if you are on a wirelss network or connect through a router make sure you are connected to the correct wireless network by searching for networks using the network adapter utility.

There is nothiing to do with 98 or XP. The problem you are facing may be due to Internet connection failure or may be the modem is not configured properly. If you are using broadband then check whether IP configurations are proper or not. Internet doesnot depend on Operating System. but XP has some features which give you more fast browsing. So first check the connections and try again.
