What's the most you've spent on one outfit for your child?? I think the most I've spend on one outfit was $75 for my baby. It was definatly overboard but I really liked it. I keep their clothes in good shape and resell them for almost what I paid on ebay when I am through with them. What about you?

I rarely bought brand new clothing for my son, I tended to buy at garage sales or on ebay. Since babies and toddlers grow so fast, the clothes were still almost brand new and great deals! Once before he had his 6 month pictures, I did 'splurge' and spent about $40 on a complete outfit for his pictures, which turned out adorable!

I've never bought anything very expensive for my son. We buy a lot of clothes at garage sales and on ebay. If we buy them new, they are usually on clearance. I've gotten some great deals at the BX on clothes for him and my nieces as well. I did buy an outfit for one of my nieces at the BX for $12. We saw the exact same one at Penney's I think, ON SALE for $60!! It was on clearance at the BX. Probably the most expensive outfit I've ever bought for my son was around $20 for his Easter outfit.

I believe the most I have ever spent was fifty dollars for a dress for my daughter . It was really sweet and it really was a good price because it was really fancy and at that I had got it on sale as it was a going out of buisness sale price . I still have it and my youngest wears it now but when she is done with it , that is what I intend to do is resell it . We have a place not far from us just down the road that sells clothes but they will only take things that have no stains and are still in good condition . You put your price that you want on it and then they mark it up to make a profit themselves so it works for everyone .

honestly we bought ONE new outfit for him, in his 3 years of life! well some others we bought WERE new as well, but were on clearance, so i should say we bought ONE outfit at full price! otherwise he gets a ton of clothes on his birthday and christmas, and sometimes both grandmas will just buy clothes randomly thru the year. and we had a friend who gave us all her boys' clothes all the time, we've been VERY fortunate! we'll see how long that lasts!! lol!! we go to the church garage sales too, those are fantastic! BUT i know as he gets older, well the kids wear thru their clothes more than just outgrowing them, and they can't be recycled as much as the baby clothes! bummer!!

OMG! Im the worst when it comes to clothes for my daughter, If I like an outfit I will buy it for her not really paying attention to the prices. I bought her an outfit one day it was made by BabyPhat (for kids) I dont know if you ever heard of that but its a popular brand of clothes and the jeans cost $40 they were so cute..the shirt was $35. Thats was 2yrs ago and I REFUSE to get rid of that outfit because it is too cute and it cost alot so its in a box in her closet.

LOL I am terrible too. I like gap and nautica and old navy for my older two, and the younger two I like gymboree and for the youngest I buy custom outfits...especially overalls. LOL I am terrible, I should really cut back. haha. I resell the expensive stuff so I can get some of my money back.

Thats a really good idea about selling some of the exspensive clothes that she has outgrown..I should try that. Where do you sell your childrens old clothes..on the net??? Im curious, I see alot of people selling clothes on Ebay. That would be great If I could get some money back that I spent on those dam exspensive clothes she only wore for couple months then outgrew.

I also buy clearance clothes but once I bought him a pair of shoes for $30. I think shoes should be of good quality, especially in young children learning to walk.

I’ve never spent $75 on a baby- I have spent that much on my daughter the last couple of years- Are you kidding me- we shop at Limited Too for most of her clothes- Most of the jeans are $45-50 each- : ( I shop with Too Bucks. Buy them off e-bay for pretty cheap- Most are save $25 off $50- and shop that way- I think we picked up her spring concert outfit- (last minute) at Fashion bug- juniors for $80- including shoes- I wasn’t impressed with that one- I usually get great deals with coupons there too- She has worn it several times though- so I don’t feel bad- We don’t sell her clothes on e-bay anymore- Mostly hand them down to her cousin.

I'm soo bad! When my daughter was born I spent $15-$20 on each outfit. After a couple months I bought this beautiful outfit for $50 and everybody was like oh those clothes are so cute, she looks so perfect, thats when it went all downward. Now at 2yrs she dosen't get a outfit less then $50. The most I ever spen was $200 on a leopard outfit, leopard hat, shoes, pants, shirt, jacket, sun glasses and pocketbook. It was worth every penny to see her smile when she goes and looks at herself in the mirrior and the attention she gets where ever we go! She loves it as much as me!!!!!
