Do you think Beckham will finally stay in Europe?

Things seem to be looking up for David Beckham these past two weeks. He is now on the brink of achieving a silverware with Real Madrid. His fortunes with the England Team have changed following his recent impressive displays for England. He now looks like a certainty for the England shirt. But there are concerns that if he goes over to L.A. Galaxy, the team may not be so gracious as to release him for England duty, and the flying back and forth between US and England can have a toll on him. Now his fortunes with Real Madrid seem to be changing too, as the Real president has admitted that the club wants Beckham to stay at Real.
Do you think Beckham will finally move over to US later this month? What's your opinion? I'm now more and more convinced he will invoke the escape clause in the US contract he signed with Galaxy and stay in Europe.

actually i have stopped wondering what happens to beckham. he can still play decent footie, as evidenced in the recent match against brazil. but all the media coverage and fanfare surrounding him and his posh wife are getting a bit tiresome. i couldn't care less where he went. can't believe that pele the great actually said beckham was following in his steps c.f. the move to the US.
might be prejudiced, but these are my thots!
