Horse Racing or Sports Betting

I love playing the horses and actually have my own handicapping site. I will occassionally bet on other sports but usually only big events like the Super Bowl etc.

I don't gamble that much either. But, we have a horse racing track near by. Since, I know little about sports, I like making small bets on the horses. I pick them by the one I think is the prettiest. LOL

I am a Stud Vet by profession! That is I work for a Stud Farm in the capacity of a Vet where we breed thoroughbred horses which are meant for racing only! To be in the business we need to keep the track of our horses and for doing that we have almost every possible details of the horse with us like its 8 generation pedigree, performance of its parents and relatives etc. We take individual confirmation and temperament also into considerations together with the conditions of the race track on which the horse is running on a particular day!Daily workouts the horse by the trainer which we call as track work is meticulously followed to guess the possibility of winning the horse in a particular race!In spite of all these efforts and having all the data with us many a times we are made fool by the horses and our predictions they go disastrously wrong! There is always a factor which we call as the favour ism of Lady Luck without which you can't win in a sport! Yes we do have won some big races like Indian Derby etc, for that matter we won one of the prestigious race yesterday only, (grade I race), but that doesn't or can't make one a perfect in guessing the out come of race!Initially when I have joined this profession I used to participate in betting, which we call as backing our horse! Now having experienced that practically nothing works, I no more bet on horses today. The best way of making money on horse betting is just avoid betting on them, as you will save the money which otherwise you would have lost in doing so, and penny saved is penny earned! LOL! That's the reason I don't bet on horses or for that matter I don't gamble at all!May be I believe in hard earned money rather than easy money which makes me to keep my self away from gambling!
