Yesterday afternoon, I got so tired that I fell asleep for a couple hours. My husband didn't complain and didn't try to wake me up. He just went about his daddy duties.
He took care of our daughter while I was sleeping, and from what I heard later, they had lots of fun.
But, today he paid me back. This afternoon, I asked him to run to the grocery store for a couple
necessities. He kept postponing for two hours, until his movie was over. Which is ironic, since he was watching a movie on DVD. I should have suspected he was holding a grudge right then.
After the movie was over, he got dressed to leave. He kept goofing around in the kitchen looking for one thing or another. And, when he couldn't find anymore excuses not to leave, he picked an argument with me. And, then he abruptly went into the bedroom and took a three hour nap. I never got my groceries. I should have seen that one coming.
Usually he's a pretty cool guy, and never complains, but when he's really tired, he's like all the rest of them.
Can you relate to that?

I can not really relate to this.....I do not see what you did wrong....If he was upset by you taking a "nap"..... why did he not just discuss this with you last night???
I would be very hurt by this type of a reaction to something so simple....
Why didn't he just go to the grocery store for you...or watch your daughter while you went??? The groceries are for all of you...your family....
I am not trying to be a smarta$$....I just do not understand the reasoning behind his anger....do you think that he was so tired for the past 2 days that he was incapable of having a coverstion with you? Would you react this way to him for the same thing?
I hope that you have talked this out....it is disturbing to me.....I have been in abusive realtionships and that is why I am so confused.....is he abusive to you...verbally, physically, psychologically???
I mean, come on, this is a fairly childish way for an adult to act over having to provide care for his child while you sleep for a while....
Please do not be offended...that is not my intention....I truly am trying to get a clear picture here......
