How do you feel about a child being given Gin at 12 years old. No matter how small the amount I am totally and completely up set by this. The teacher has no right. He says he was teaching them about honesty! Oh that is honest for you. Taking a personal decision and right away from a parent and a child about their choices to drink alcohol! The parents right to teach their child and the childs right to choose. Maybe those parents never wanted their child to ever taste alcohol ever or at least until the child could choose for himself. I am so angry about this. Here is the article. What is your thoughts on this?

I am sorry but your link to this article does not work. I cut and pasted it and it still didn't work.
I guess I would be upset with the teacher too , they should have gotten parental permission before they did this .

I apologize about the link. I guess they dont' keep them up for long. It is a story about a teach that was doing a lesson on a African tribe and there rituals. I am not sure how this all goes together but the were doing this ritual and learning about honesty. So the teacher was having them perform this ritual blindfolded and they had to drink out of two little cups. One cup had water and one had Gin. The teacher said this was to teach them about honesty! All the children could tell which was water and wish was Gin. Duh, I am sure they could! I hope that teacher gets spanked!
