Im allergic of house dust and I manage it but avoiding dusting chores at home, my mom knows that if I dust it reeks havoc to my nose I sneeze and sneeze until my nasal pasages bleed. So I just keep outside when my mom is cleaning up a storm. Believe me its her obsession to clean the house again and again flipping everything up and over and moving stuff from here to there. Im also allergic of coffee in a sense that it affects me greatly, If I sip a cup now I wont be able to sleep for two days. So I just drink it on a weekends when I really dont want to sleep.:)

Same here~! Isn't it just a nuisance~! I hate when I get in contact with dust! I always avoid spring cleaning! Lucky for me, I'm always excused.. :P Cats give me the same reaction too~!

Anti histamines dont work for me I think I have a resistance for them I just dont know, when my irritation begins I just keep on sneezing until my nose bleeds out of so much effort. Any ways I love my cats eventhough they make me sneeze sometimes, the funny thing is after a while of being with my cats my allergic reaction towards them disappeared completely :)

I have no idea what I'm allergic to. I've never been to an allergy doctor. I used to take decongestants such as Sudafed. Then I found out I have high blood pressure and those types of medicines make it worse. So, I can't take anything like that at all. I have to either take antihistamines or herbal remedies. Since antihistamines either make me sleepy or don't work, I take echinacea. I don't know how to spell that, sorry. You have to let it get into your system for a while, probably at least a month. But, it works better than any other medicine ever has for me.

wow that is a tricky situation I think we both have that, I dont take much antihistamines because they dont work for me, I'd rather avoid my allergens completely rather than be hard headed and keep on doing stuff that I know I will regret. Thanks again for your reply and I hope you are feeling better now :)

Eggs, Milk, and anything with wheat gluten in it, which is a lot more things than you think.I have celiac disease, and it's a very uncomfortable condition that people go an average of nine years with before it's properly diagnosed.I manage by eating gluten free products and not eating milk and eggs, lol.

I'm also allergic to dust but I like cleaning up like your mom. I think it's also an obsession. I'm also allergic to some antibiotics like penicillin and ceflexin. I think I'm also allergic to chicken, but it's not really bad, I just get some rashes, it's nothing alarming.

I think food allergies are the worst fortunately I only have one food allergy that comes from eating wild pineapple, my tongue swells up and my mouth turns violet afterwards then I get allergy shots on my bottom that's so nasty! I dont know why I dont get the same reaction with cultured pineapple that's why when I see a pineapple slice I quickly ask where it comes from, when its just a wild pineapple I quickly refuse eventhough the smell makes my mouth water :) Thanks for the reply miss shorva

I am also allergic to dust but I am not able to avoid it like you as I still have to do household chores. By doing cleaning regularly does cinimise on the buildup of dust. I will keep on snezzing and sneezing until I start tearing in my eyes. I do not take any medicine but it will probably take one day for me to feel better.

Thats sad to hear, I hate attacks that's why I just aviod them. Prevention is better than cure as they say becuase sometimes cures dont really work. Especially in allergies
