Cigarette ends in public places - does it bother you

I am a smoker and I never throw the filters on the ground or anywhere except an ashtray. If no ashtray is available, I will knock the fire off, make sure it is out, and throw the filter away in the garbage. Why ban smoking outdoors? We can't smoke inside anywhere, so we smoke outside. There are people letting their dogs poop all over without cleaning it up, people that throw hamburger wrappers from their car windows, people that spit on the sidewalk, people that can't seem to get their garbage into the can. Shall we ban fast food? How about banning dogs? Or people in general? It is the people that are responsible for their actions. You can't punish society as a whole for something done by a few.
