Liverpool have been linked with ex man u player forlan who was rubbish for them! Surely not a liverpool player!!

This guy suck, i really hope liverpool they don't buy him... he is not good for EPL.. he suites well for Spanish League. That is you he started scoring like mad when he was there after leaving Man United..

All paper talk at the moment .. same old story.... Malouda looks like he is priced to high..now its back to Simao of Benfica...looks like we are always looking at second best...Forlan is becasue Eto is too dear....i agree with previous post Forlan had his chance in the prem and he did not take it... like Morientes he is suited better to the Spanish league....rumours still flying round the city about Henri....maybe we are only looking at other "second Bests" becasue we have to pay for the best ...Henri wont be cheap . even at 29 !!...What happened to Hicks statemtn last week... he went on record as saying Liverpool will have a top player signrd this week.. well it is now wednesday and nothing happening.... worried ....!!

If liverpool is link with forlan for 16m pound... then its the end with tevez (40mil pound) already... I am really angry that liverpool always never willing to spend big money to really get top class player

16 mil is alot of money for a striker who couldnt score many goals for Man U, Im not convinced we need a top striker. Thanks for the reply Adam

to be honest i think there both mediocre player in my opinion, we need a big name striker to be competetive next season. Thanks for the reply Adam

He won't come its just transfer speculation because we haven't splashed the cash right away. We've spent our time currently tying down our core players for the future and rightly so as they have served us well and should be considered before signings. Plus would those players commit themselves if it didn't look like we were going to compete with Man utd and Chelsea? Plus theres the waiting for the Spanish league to end for a majority of our targets to become available for talks. Just something to put in the papers, as usual.

As far as I am aware no former Utd player has ever played for Liverpool (certainly not in my lifetime) and I really hope it stays that way.... Forlan, Voronin and Crouch - we'll be the laughing stock of the prem (also I personally love crouch)

I wouldn't want to see him in a Liverpool shirt. Be another Morientes but not as cool lol
