What is the most racist thing that has ever happened to you?

We have all had our experiences. I personally believe no matter what skin color you are you experience some sort of racism either within your own ethnic group, those from another ethnic group, or from those in a different socio-economic group as you. Tell me your stories.

I was walking down the street with a woman I know, who was visiting from Africa, on the other side of the road two black men were walking in the opposite direction. As we drew level they started yelling racist abuse and threats. To the effect, that she shouldn't be with a white man and how they were going to come and attack me if she didn't come away. We just walked on and after shouting for a bit they went away.
So, yes there is racism still and it cuts both ways.

Hello- I just want to highlight your comment about 'racism cuts both ways'. There couldn't be a statement more true. I think so many times individuals like to think that only caucasians are racist toward individuals of color. But, its really on all sides. Again, like I said coming from a mixed background and just having the ability to really be immersed in various cultures- you really do see that racism is rampant. Racism is not something that is specific to one group of individuals. I think truly that until we can all see that and understand that and then in turn change our own actions, it will never go away.

I had a nasty experience in Korea.I was teaching in a school ,and the parents bring their kids to register for english lesson.A korean lady brought her kid for registration.After the registration ,she followed her daughter into the classroom to see me ,immediately she saw me ,she turned back with her child and went home.All because i am not white.I felt very bad.Some Koreans are racial

it was a couple years ago and i was working at a gas station, i came out to pump this guys gas (yes we get our gas pumped in NJ) and when i put the pump in the guys tank i went to walk away to pump some1 else car and all a sudden i hear something hit the ground. i turn back to look and there i gasoline all on the guys car and on the ground. for some reason the pump jumped out the tank. and the go thought he was a real tuff guy so he calls me a N!gger. didn't bother me as long as he didn't touch me its whatever. i just brushed it off and went on wit my day
