I am a member of many "get paid to" programs but I never did the "paid to try offers" - "paid to sign up" that require credit card information and need to be canceled at a certain date otherwise you will get charged the subscription fees.
Some people say these offers are great. But if you sign up and then you don't like the service is it easy to cancel?
Could you please share your experience? Thank you.

I was going to try some fax offer from Cashcrate but I decided not to at the last minute. It was one of those trial offers. But, I NEVER activated the service NOR confirmed my telephone number.
And since they instruct users that, in order to take advantage the offer, they must validate their account by calling to activate the account I thought it wouldn't be a problem.
Well, wouldn't you know two weeks later they informed me they would be billing me! I emailed them back to let them know I had never activated the service. Yet, they had the nerve to charge me!
They even had the nerve to tell me, I needed to select a different payment method b/c the charges were not being paid. Well, of course they weren't being paid, the charges were invalid! I'm no dummy and I let my telephone company know and instructed them that I wouldn't be paying. For two months they tried to charge me.
For 2 months I was constantly trying to tell those people, I NEVER activated the service and thus would never pay them. In fact, my exact words were that "I will never pay the charges."
Finally, they went ahead and closed the account. But, they tried to send me a final bill! I told them for the last time the situation and they finally left me alone.
The potential for something such as the above to happen, is the mean reason why I only do free offers...My advice to anyone is to ride them, as hard as they ride you. If they charge you w/o proper cause, bring it to their attention and assert yourself.

That's quite a story inallduetime. I would think that it's not worth it if you have to go through that hassle.
I'm glad they finally left you alone. And good for you! You knew how to resolve the problem. Good luck!

I once had tried one such offer some time back and promptly cancelled the membership before the trial period and let them knew about it and had no issues at all, they did not charge me anything after that and had a good response and experience with them.
I feel that it all depends on which site you are opting for, if you are signing up or buying something from some third-grade sites, you will end up losing your money even if you cancel your membership before your trial period, so try to be more cautious and more careful in choosing such programs and never give your important details like credit card, etc to such sites, even if they cancel your membership during trial period, they might misuse it in the future too.

No I have never tried it because I just do not trust it
The thing is you are giving them all your Details and they could be a spam Site or you could be trapped in it I was looking at one the other Day and I no way was I giving them my Details when I was suppose to be getting a free Trial

I have tried these offers and have not had any problems cancelling, so far. My problem is sometimes I forget to cancel before the trial period ends and so I get charged for it. But I have not had any bad experience where I can't contact the company to cancel.
