What does the SCA mean to you?

I would be interested to hear what the SCA means to other people. To me, it is a place where I finally belong. A place that is accepting of many view points in life. A place where people listen when I talk and show respect for my opinions. I love the SCA and hope it is always a part of my life. What do you think of the SCA?

I found it was very accepting and felt like a family to me. It was great to find a hobby I loved that combined history and family. I haven't been as active the last few years like I used to be but I miss it.
