Season 5 will take place 4 years after high school. This skips the college years, and gives a reason for the characters to be "re-united" in Tree Hill. Therefore, we shouldn't have to deal with having them in different locations (aside from flashbacks that will probably happen to fill us in on what went on during the college years).

Last night when the show was over, I was hoping they would go into more detail of what would be in store for next season, but nothing was mentioned. I'm excited about the next season-- but wondering how they will do the storylines, since it seems some of them are going off in their own worlds. I like having all of the characters together.
