I received this in an email from my aunt the other day. I just know read it and thought I would share it with you. ....a friend whose mother recently got diagnosed with breast cancer. The doctor told her women should not drink bottled water that has been left in a car. The doctor said that the heat and the plastic of the bottle have certain chemicals that can lead to breast cancer. So please be careful and do not drink that water bottle that has been left in a car and pass this on to all the women in your life. This information is the kind we need to know and be aware and just might save us!!!! The heats causes toxins from the plastic to leak into the water and they have found these toxins in breast tissue. Use a stainless steel canteen or a glass bottle when you can!

I hadn't actually heard this but it makes since as they've said not to cook food in plastic containers in the microwave for the same reason - I've kinda turned off most all plastic, scares me.

Wow that is something I didn't know and I will certainly pass on to all my friends, it sounds logical as I read some other thread about heating things in plastic and even glad wrap in the microwave, these things should be publised much more, it is worth it for all people to know even if it is just suspected....

Thanks so much for sharing this information. I will most certainly pass it along to other woman I know. I am also glad that I have never done this. But of course that is mostly due to the fact that I am not a big water drinker.
