I woke up mad today

I had a dream about someone I know and he was really mean to me. So I woke up really mad at him. It took me a few minutes to calm myself and think this is just a dream. But I did find myself kind of mad at him today. Has this ever happened to you?

it is good that you did not have any problem about that dream having affected you adversely. for most of us however, we will find ourselves highly affected by the dreams that we have had.

Oh my god yes!!! I was staying at my friend Scotts house and the two of us never ever argue. Ihave very vivid dreams and am often haunted my nightmares. One particular night I did not sleep well at all and in my dreams I had fallen out with Scott big style! When I woke up I was actually physically hitting him and he stopped me and asked me what the hell i was doing. It was hours before I would speak to him and took a while for me to work out that all of it was a dreamm that he hadnt done anything horrible to me. It was funny looking back but at the time I was in such a rage!

No Scott is hard! He can take it! He just thinks I am crazy with all my dreams and nightmares!

I've had dreams occasionly similar to that. I figured out that a lot of times these dreams were a result of issues or things going on in my life. Physchologists say that our dreams sometimes do reflect what is going on in our lives. I've dreamed about people or things that were happening. I have even heard that our dreams are actually being used as problem solvers. Remember that old saying, "sleep on it". Maybe you had issues with that guy before you had the dream?

That is true, I think I do have some issues with him. Although I have never been mad at him

That has happened to me once. It was about my husband being so stupid so I woke up mad and looked at him (he's still sleeping) then I was thinking about that dream so I even got madder for thinking about it so I got my pillow and hit him then he woke up and thought what in the world is wrong with you LOL I told him nothing just go back to sleep. I thought that was funny. The next morning when we got up he asked why did I hit him with a pillow so I told him abut that dream and he laughed so hard.

It sure has honey - and boy is it weird! lol I have given my other half the silent treatment for most of a day and he couldn't figure it out at all! When I explained why he was gobsmacked - it took him forever to convince me that it wasn't his fault what had happened in my dream! lol xxx

happens to me sometimes. i dream of someone i have forgotten already. someone i who really caused me pain before. i was already happy knowing that he's no longer in my mind. but then one night, i end up seeing him in my dreams. i woke up remembering the bad things he did to me. thus, ruining my whole morning. i just wish i could edit my dreams!... anne

Oh yeah! I have dreams on occasion that my hubby cheats on me and I will make up madder than a hornet afterwards. Poor guy. It takes me nearly all day to realize it was only a paranoid dream and that he really wouldn't do it. Nor has the time since he's with me 99% when we're not working.

I don't remember but I might have. Some dreams I paid attention, some dreams I didn't. Most of my dreams made me scared, not angry.

I have never experienced waking up mad to something. But I experienced having a dream wherein my loved ones were in great danger or peril and I woke up fearing for them and spent the rest of the day and even week still fearing for them.

Yes it has happened to me too - unfortunately. Sometimes it is only a faint blur between dreams and reality. Especially when you have just woken, it is easy to mistake what happened in your dreams are what happened in real life. Recently, my dreams have been totally crazy fantasy. Some time back, I was dreaming about distorted versions of real life. During that time, it was all messed up and when I wake, I had to spend more than a few moments making sure I have correctly separated what only happened in my dreams but did not happen in real life from real things that had happened. I hope this doesn't happen to you too often.

Yes, I've woken up and not been sure if I had dreamed something. I've, also, found myself staying mad at the person even though it was just a dream. It is really a weird feeling having a dream like that and it seems so real.

oh-oh. i had this feed from a friend before, when you wake from a bad dream, get a bite at the pillow or the bedsheets. make them really good and hard bites. it will relieve you of the stress that you will feel due to that bad dream. according to her, the act has caused the transfer of ill feelings from deep inside you unto those unfeeling things. next time that this happens to you, try this this has always worked for me. you remind me now that i must share this little thing with my kids. it is natural for us to wake up from bad dreams once in a while.

I know what you are talking about, I had a dream where I was fighting with my husband. When I woke up I looked at him still fast asleep like a baby, it took me a few minutes to realize that it was only a dream, but the 'mad' feeling was sill there! Poor men what they sometimes have to endure with us!

This has happened a few times to me. I often find that I am harboring some kind of ill will towards the person in question. Maybe it's a way they've treated me, or something they said or did not say. Often I won't realize that it was upsetting to me until I've had a dream of this nature. But just having the dream can be a good thing as it gets things out in the open and forces me to deal with the issues that I may not have known existed in the first place. Minnie Mouse is HOT! filmbuff
