my son turning into a yerba mate drinker

Summer is hear, and wow, elementary school over for a few months. I will miss the interaction with other parents, and seeing the familiar children, with their child interests: video games, yo yos, sports, arts and crafts, learning. Now, my son is in Paraguay for a month visting with my wife. I had to stay and work, damm. Anyway, he calls me and says, "dad, the children sip yerba mate all over here. I like it now." Wow, my son likes Yerba Mate along with my wife and myself. Before, the trip, he would not touch mate, thnking that sucking the yerba from a metal ornamental straw is ridiculous and weird. Not any more. My son likes yerba mate. Cool. Now I only hope he will finally like horseback riding before the summer is over.

Aye, good to hear. I'm at the office right now (I live in Romania) and I'm sipping my Yerba Mate tea, as I do every day.
It's not that easy to get Yerba all the way down here, but I made the extra effort and found a good herbal dealer. Bought a HUGE bag, and also some of my female colleagues were very interested in it, as it burns the fats and they car about their waist :D
Other than that It's largely unknown here, people dont know what they're missing
