I remember my parents' birthdays very well because ever since we were little, my sister and I would greet them at exactly 12 midnight on the day of their birthday and we bring gifts or cake to their room. That has been the tradition with all family members. They taught us that and we made a culture out of it. I think it made our family stronger because we have a strong bonding. I agree that we should give importance to our parents. They sacrificed a lot for us and it's not too much to give back even a little to them. :)

Yes,of course. At the beginning of each year,I will make all the birthday of my families' on the calender. It reminds me to send my respects to them on that day.But I seldom send presents to them.It seems there is no such custom in my family to send present to each other. My parents usually don't give us presents either on birthday, unless we propose such requirment. However,"Happy birthday!" is the essential. A few days ago,I bought a wallet to send my dad as birthday gift.At the moment he received it,he was so happy. So I think I should send them presents on birthday no matter what it is.In parents' heart, whatever the children give are the best.

I think I remember..let me see. Oh my mother's is March 16, 1953 and my fathers is November 20, 1947 but on his birth certificate it says December. The beauty about our birthdate is that my father and I have the same ending birthyear 1947 and 1977. While my mother and brother is 1953 and 1973. SweeeeT.

Hi, gracelee114. Of course I can. My mother's birthday is on Mar 21st. August is one of my favorite months because my father and I were both born in this lucky month. Aug 13rd is my father's. Mine comes after five days of my dad's. I guess you've count it now. Correct! That's Aug 18th. Thanks for your blessings. I rarely buy expensive presents for them because I'm still a university student. I usually prepare the dinner and celebrate for them if I'm at home. Hope you can send my best regards to your mother and your family. Wish you and your family healthy and happy each day!

yes i do! i've remembered it since i was a wee tot. and they sometimes forget mine! hahaha! we still celebrate it till now, and go out for a meal. but it's been increasingly difficult to think of presents for them, so now we just ask them what they feel like eating and we just go out for a meal and catch up over the meal. :)

Yes. I do remember the birthdays of my parent. There is no reason for me to not to remember their birthday. I do visit my parent for their birthdays and give them some gifts which they were looking for to buy for themselves. Even the last birthday of my Mother, I have been with them and having fun. After all, they are our parent and I think its the duty of every child to remember and wish their parent birthday.

I know my parents birthdays and always send a card and gift, it is their special day...I also do the same for close family members, a little trick, I go out to buy cards and buy a whole bunch at once so I have them ready!
