Do you check the toilet seat before and after?

I guess this is one of my pet peeves.
I always, always check the toilet seat before using the toilet, to see if there are tiny droplets of what could be urine, or if there are any stray hairs, I think you know which kind.
And I also check it after I use it, I never leave it wet or anything.
I just find it really irresponsible for people to not even check the toilet seat after they use the toilet, the fact that you still have to wipe off anything they leave behind is just so ewww.
I think it is just mutual respect to those who you share the toilet with to see to it that you leave the seat clean after using.

I think everyone should make it a habit to check the toilet seat before and after. First of all, you don't own the toilet for yourself. And if you do own it for yourself, you should keep it clean too. What more if there are others who use it afterwards. It's always about being responsible to maintain cleanliness all the time. Because what you do as a habit at your home will eventually be the one you'll be doing when you're in a public toilet or in other's home.

I am exactly like that. I MUST check the seat before using it for the same reasons as you and I check after so that the next one coming in doesn't feel disgusted too!!

Isn't it disgusting and kinda embarassing if you leave the seat unclean and the next person that uses it knows exactly that it is you who's that slob?

Yes I do I especially check before using a public toilet or hover and make sure not to miss :p ... You would expect people too but I have come across some fowl toilets and it makes me wonder what kind of person would do that.....

Everyone should make it a habit to clean up after, so that public toilets won't be as bad.

Absolutely...nothing worse then sitting on a wet toilet seat. THis is also a great way to make sure there is toilet paper when you need it.
I often carry a travel roll.

Yes, I do check the toilet before and after I use it. I have found people that don't flush the toilet and that is disgusting; I just move to another toilet if I am in public restrooms.

i always to do that just to be sure that i am 'sitting on a clean throne.' it also reflects what kind of personality you have in terms of hygiene and cleanliness. i see to it that there are no splatters around the seat after peeing and there are no strayed hairs left. this way the next user would be happy using the toilet seat.

yes i always check but i also keep wetones on me and wipe every toilet seat that i use. today you cant be to careful
