Why in the hell?

Ok so why is it people feel the need to call me at all hours of the morning for no reason? Today between 8-10am my phone rang at least 7 times. 3 of those calls were from people trying to sell me crap, by the time the 5th call came in I was pissed. I had some lady call me because she saw my resume on-line and felt the need to call first thing in the morning. I told her to go blow it out her butt. Out of all the calls I got this morning only 1 was for something important. Why do people feel the need to wake people up early in the morning for no damn reason? I swear I'm gonna start calling people at like 3 am and see how well they like being woken up from their sleep for no reason. Ok thats my rant, I know I'm not the only one who gets anoyed by early morning phone calls.

Well, one idea would be to program a different ring for family, friends and school. Then if you hear a normal ring, you know it isn't someone you're worried about and let it go to voicemail. I'm looking for work as well, but if I'm not up I let it go to voicemail. When I call back I can always tell them I was busy. They don't need to know I was busy SLEEPING...LOL

The funny thing is I haven't been looking for work in almost 7 months, not since I got accepted for school. I stoped working to focus on school and family full time. I didn't even know I still had a resume on monster lol. We are getting new phones here soon so the only people who will have my new number are family and friends. No more early morning calls from random retards.

How about using an answering machine especially in the morning. Leave a message that they can call you at your specified time. You are right, it is really very annoying to receive calls early in the morning. You really can't avoid people who are inconsiderate. The best thing for you to do is find a way. The answering machine would be able to filter all your calls.

The problem with that is I have voice mail because my house phone is my cell phone. So if it rings then I have to answer it because it could acutally be an important call. When the number shows up with an out of state area code I normally answer it because it could be people calling about school or other stuff I have going on. I don't normally know who it is till after I answer the phone. I just hate the fact that most people seem to be really inconsiderate of others sleeping patterns and call at all hours of the day.

No you are not the only one. The best ones are freinds calling because they couldn't sleep all night!!! OMG! What, they think it's not fair I can?? Anyway, get an answering machine and turn the ringers off. That works great :o)
