most sweet creatures

I wonder why cats and kittens are sweet. They are opposite to other animals that are harsh and killer.

I think Kittens are cute, but I can't say the same for cats. Everyone I have know who has owned a cat, the cat was never friendly. Always hissed and scratched you. Or it was never to be found and always hiding in the basement or something. I prefer dogs and puppies better.
