I was watching the tv this morning and there was a piece on martin bryant who is serving 35 life sentences for the port arthur massacre here in tasmania australia, apparently he keeps trying to commit suicide while he is in jail and they were having a discussion to whether they should let him do it or if they should keep him suffering in jail... what do you think?

I think they should let him already, hes costing australian tax payers a fortune and this would mean also the victims families. I think what would be better is to give him 5 minutes with the families and they will do it for him. I still can remember this and how very sad it was and still is. I dont have much compasion left for him, if I ever did. I just think it would be nice now that the whole thing could be put to rest for the families. Let him go and no R.I.P for him.

Well, i look at it like this. The families of his victims are going to suffer their loss for the rest of their lives, why should he get off by being allowed to top himself.
