ok so i just bought full dh the other day for 3.4m and one week later i decided to look around on the forums for fun and found that people were sellin for 3.1-3.2! aggg i feel like i wasted money...has this ever happened to you?

it happen sometimes, once i got a robin hat and sold it for 3.5m, later the buyer who bought sold it for 3.9m lol...

the runescape economy is a fickle thing lol... and yes i have bought things that have later gone down in value.
i bought my whip about a year and a half ago, it was 3mil as standard price, they now go for as little as 1.5mil so that's a half drop in price, though this doesn't bother me too much anymore as i have 85 slayer, and if i wanted to spend a few hours killing abyssal demons, i could get 2 or 3 of them and more than make my money back.
about the same time that i got my whip, i also bought a dragon skirt, this is much cheaper than buying the legs (but as i am female and so is my char i don't care lol) but at that time they were 1-1.1mil now they are closer to 500-600k (around a 400k drop) this bugged me more than the whip price drop as i very rarly get any dragon drops (though i had d legs drop once).
more recently i bought my dragon chain (man saving up for that was hard) i bought for 15.2mil plus 1k nats (so basically 15.5m) a couple of days ago on forum i had seen they are down to 13mil at the lowest. though as i am not planning on selling any of these high priced items, i am not too bothered.
hang on to your expensive purchases, then if you notice the market price go up again, sell it on. otherwise, just put it down to bad luck. sorry :(
