I love Hemingway, Twain, Franzen, Faulkner, Salinger, Neal Pollack, Danielewski, Flannery O'Connor, J.K. Rowlings, Stephen King, Cormac McCarthy, Thomas Pynchon and Armistead Maupin. Whew! That's a long list, but I love most all of their books.

My favourite authors are James Patterson, Richard North Patterson, Virginia Andrews, VC Andrews, and Stephen King.

Nice one with the VC Andrews. What's your fav VC Andrews? Mine is "Gods Of Green Mountains". It's pretty hard to find. :)

Mine are Mervyn Peake, J.R.R Tolkien, Sylvia Plath, Albert Camus, Edgar Allan Poe, Bram Stoker, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Simone de Beauvoir, Comte de Lautréamont (aka Isidore Ducasse), George Orwell, Émile Zola and Oscar Wilde.

Nice one with the Bret Easton Ellis. I think that he's probably the best/worst writer of the eighties. Maybe all the movies hurt his books.
