What do you think is meant by this Gospel Passage:

Taking time to read the Gospel - For me, the words of Jesus are so much a part of my life. There are some passages that mean more to me than others..but I value each and every word that Jesus said. I think God chose to send His Son so we may access Him with more readiness and Jesus made it possible for us to always access Him through His word and through the Eucharist and through His Church.

"You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill-top cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp to put it under a tub; they put it on the lamp-stand where it shines for everyone in the house. In the same way your light must shine in the sight of men, so that, seeing your good works, they may give the praise to your Father in heaven.’ "
