What is the weirdest pet you have ever owned?

I have had many pets in my life, mostly dogs though. But I have had a couple weird pets as well. For one, I once owned a tarantula. My husband and I seen it crossing the street, so we stopped and trapped it in a jar. Usually, I am terrified of spiders, but this tarantula was kinda cute:P We kept him for over a year, until he ended up dying. I would make my husband go outside and catch bugs for the spider, and he lived very healthily:P Another weird pet was my husbands idea. It was a rooster. My husband felt bad for it because his friend said he was just going to kill it, because it was a nuissance (crowing in the early morning). We took him in, and he only lived for a few months. My husband and I both had no clue how to care for a rooster. These were two of the weirdest pets I have ever owned. So, what about you? What is the weirdest pet you have ever owned?
