Is Katy Couric really that bad?

The women on The View were discussing Katy Couric this morning, and how her critics are giving her an unfair rap. Do you think Katy Couric is getting a bad rap?
I've only seen a few of her news casts, so I'm not sure if this is true or not.
She seems to be just as efficient at her job as any man.
So, why won't people give her a chance. Does she really stink that bad at her job?
Or, do you think it's just a back lash against women working in powerful jobs? Aren't we more advanced than that?

I've only seen her show a few times as well and I think she is doing a nice job. I surely DON'T see any difference b/w her and the guys. Her show has a different theme than theirs, but she does a good job and her topics are just as good as theirs.....
If she was a guy, this wouldn't even be an issue. I don't hear people complaining about Charlie G. or Brian W. I really don't care for C. G. but Brian is good. So, for me the only two that I will watch are Brain and Katie.
She is doing a good job.
