Hypnotism is siad to be a kind of sleep, when our we can communicate thru our subconcoius mind thru a different medium (the hypnotist). It is said that we do not live boldly due to certain restrictions in society, and it often happens that something remins inside us, which , we are not able to admit, openly, for whatever reason. Some other unfortunate, and un memorable past incident also might influence our life, and we keep it to ourself, and this often result in causing some uneasiness within us. So, the basic fundamental of the hpnosis sleep is that the subject, willingly want to get hypnotised. The hypnotist, then takes the subject inot a hynosis stage (sleepp) where he can deal with and speak out the incidents which is not possbile for him to speak in conciuos state, or he found it hard to admit conciously. Hypnotist might also give some instrctions to the subject regarding how he should deal with such a sitution, an dits said that thatsubconcious state of subject is much more receptive to instrutions and accpets them easily. Thus by hypnosis, subject often finds hmself comfertable, after he is done with it. So, do u find it intersting? Would u like to be hypnotised, if given a chance? Lemm know.. :)

I've had the opportunity and nearly did get hyponotised a couple times but I chickened out - I just do not like the idea of someone else controlling my mind and me not.

Actually I would. There are a few things that I would like help on and I think being hypnotized would help. Quitting smoking, losing weight and forgeting my ex. LOL I know, the forgetting my ex husband is probably not going to happen, but I think it would help me with the losing weight and quitting smoking. They are just so darn expensive that I have never set up an appt to go see one.
