Conneticut Radio Station Announces Vince's Death!

There have been people reporting that CT radio stations have been announcing through out the day that WWE Chairman Vince is actually dead. This is a quote from one person telling what they heard; "In a "wow, I don't believe some people are fooled" moment, I was driving to work this morning and a local Connecticut radio station ( Kiss 95.7 ) was doing their daily "Hollywood Report" segment." "This morning the segment reported the following, "In a scary moment, on live TV last night, Vince McMahon, the President of Stamford based WWE was killed when his limousine exploded on live TV. I would assume an investigation is in the works, but we'd like to send our condolences to his family and friends." "They then spoke for a minute or so about how that clip will probably become internet banter on sites like YouTube and whatnot, and they even spoke about "that wrestler who fell a few years ago", I can only assume they meant Owen Hart. At first I thought it was tongue in cheek, but amazingly enough they were actually serious, which is scary. I'm not sure if other places are reporting it as well, but I've been asked several times at work thus far today about "What happened to Vince last night?", all by non-wrestling fans." "If this is the publicity they want, I guess they're getting it, but why they'd want that kind of publicity is beyond me." Well honestly I'm not sure what to make of this report about radio stations broadcasting this new all over, but I'll say that if this is in a SICK JOKE, they are going way too far with this and many people will no doubt stop watching WWE as a result.

http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/mcmahonpresumeddead Well After reading your post I went to the WWE website and found this. If it is then there must be a lot of people involved in it Including the fire department.

I have read the same reports that you have mentioned. Yet I think it odd too that the FBI scoured his office this morning removing his computer, boxes, files, they are checking his email, and phone calls. Isn't this a wronged justice if our legal system is involved in such a hoax? My husband stated that if by chance this was real how come it was not broadcast over all of the news stations? I couldn't answer his question. The family is going to release a statement regarding this"explosion" at 5pm eastern time on the wwe web site. Odds are tons of people will tune in to see what the outcome is.

What I have heard last is that the case of Mr.Macmahon is now in the hands of F.B.I. and if such a high level of investigation dept. is involved in it than it is surely something serious. But in case it is fake than it is not at all cool. I can't say anything about it at the moment. Even his body is also not found till yet so just hope for the best.

I agree with you that if this is a sick joke, then things have gotten way out of hand there and someone needs to step up and make the sport change as this is not funny at all. I am concerned about the family as the WWE site says that they will make an announcement tomorrow. Please keep us posted on anything that you hear and I will do the same.

I live in PA and there has not been even a sound biyte about this on tv or radio. So way would a CT radio station be reporting it? think about it.
