Vince Dead?!?!? Truth or Hoax???

WWE.com says 'truth'. I went to the website, and sure enough, there's a picture of a limo on fire. I don't know what to think about this. If it's true, then ok. But, if it's a publicity stunt, he should be hung up, tarred, and feathered- on national tv. I'm skeptical because Vince always was an unstoppable force, someone I thought would outlive everyone. My sympathies to the family, for either case.

You want the truth? Look up ANY news website, you'll find NOTHING about it. wwe.com is not a news website. I saw what happened Monday nite and what was filmed after raw went off the air on ecw last night. First it only shows 2 firefighters putting the fire out. Second, the police, firefighters would NEVER let a cameraman get that close while they were fighting a fire. Then there's the sound of the car blowing up. If you watched it you would noticed how muffled the sound was. Then there's the after shots of the car on fire, it appeared to have no engine. The back window of the limo was covered before but after you could see where the window was.

It's not to sell tickets, it's not to get "publicity", it's part of the storyline. Much like a soap opera, which is what I've been trying to say for a few days now. People are getting caught up on it as if it were real or a publicity stunt, it's none of the above. I mean, KB got it right. I mean, would they have let the camera that close? It was so inconsistent. McMahon has not played the WWE as real since they came out and became "sports entertainment." It's a television drama with sports matches. They aren't even contests. They are pre-determined and scripted. McMahon should not be sued. McMahon is putting forth a television drama... People, lay off the "sick joke" and "publicity stunt" angles. The "Vince McMahon" we see on television is a character, and the WWE creative team and probably McMahon the business man thought it was time to take "McMahon" off television. It's like CSI, or a soap opera, Sopranos, something to that effect. As far as the WWE.com website. Since Stephanie McMahon took over the role of VP of Creative Control, they have turned the website to a completely "in-Character" site.

Just so you know, I didn't think so either. At first, I wasn't sure(in this day and age, you never know), but after watching CNN for 15 minutes, I knew that if something happened to VINCENT...KENNEDY...McMAHON, it would be all over the news. It wasn't in Tuesdays paper either, and you know that would've made headlines. But, then again, if his car would've exploded, and they really thought he was in there, they would've used words like- 'no word yet...', or no information is available at this time...'. I can see how everyone would be tight-lipped in that situation. No news, no facts. Still, it's pretty sad that someone with that much money, and a giant playground for all his drama, would go to these lengths to sell some more tickets. He should be sued. Also, on this note, why on wwe.com does it have all those wrestlers paying tribute to McMahon??? That is the biggest part of me thinking it was true. I know everyone has to make a living, but that's low, even for them beat up and broken retirees. Someone should put a handle on this company.

I'm not sure if you think I don't know that, but I've known it was fake for many years. The thing about me thinking it was real, is we HAVE lost people in this business, so when I hear things like this, it must be considered. I didn't see Mondays show, I heard about it here. I don't watch the news or read a paper unless I hear something and I want the whole story. As more from you guys came in and nothing was on the news, I figured it was in the script, which is what I said to a few people. 'Publicity stunt' and 'to sell more tickets' are just words to imply that it's BS. They changed this industry into a bigger soap opera when they dropped WWF and became WWE. I still have a hard time with that. When Vince started being a key player on the show, it got ridiculous. Then came Shane, then Stephanie, and finally Linda. My whole point is that it COULD have been true. My thing was I bet Stephanie distracted the driver while Shane set the bomb. Like either of them are that smart!! I'm well aware of the script, I've been explaining that one to my kids for a long time. It's hard to explain that even though it's fake, people still get hurt and sometimes they die. So, admit it- it was possible.

I didn't know but just hope that it is not true. Though I have heard that the case is now in the hands of F.B.I. though his body is not yet found. So who knows whether it is a publicity stunt or something really serious.

The FBI is NOT involded. look at this: http://www.wrestlezone.com/article.php?articleid=183771065 The newspaper in Wilkes-Barre called the FBI office in Philly about this. "Special agent spokesman Jerri Williams from the FBI's Philadelphia office told the publication, 'The ''federal agent'' (referenced on the wwe.com web site) is definitely not the FBI..." The question is can wwe be hold liable for making false statements conserning the Federal Government? Storyline or not.

I think it's a hoax. It would have been all over the news like cnn or msnbc if it was real. I think they have gone too far with that though.

I think it is a publicity stunt unless a lot more further information comes out and says its not. I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens for sure.

I think I feel the most sorry for his family. They must have to put up with alot from him. Not Shane and Stephanie, but he might have sisters or brothers or aunts or nephews or cousins. It's just ridiculous what people do with their money.
