have u ever done a candlelight dinner at home ?

A candlelight dinner is just the perfect romantic thing for a couple isn't it ? We usually go for such dinners on a valentine's day or anniversary, but has anybody tried that set up at home ? I cooked a nice dinner once and set the table and the whole house with candles and all..my hubby loved it.

Yes for my 1 year anniversary with my ex. We did it again for Valentine's day three years later.

Yeah, it's an amazing experience. I just love the soft lighting created by the candle. It made the entire atmosphere feel so magical I almost forgot I was at home. It also feels really romantic. I really enjoyed that and would do it again soon! :)

Nope.
When I get a place of my own I will be doing this with my wife and showing her that she can be treated for once. (I mean by allowing me to cook)

I've totally done that before. It's really quite nice. Sure it is nice to go out and do that but it's so much more private when done at home. It's definitely very fun and romantic. I think we should do it once a month. It makes it seem like a date. And after being with someone for a while, it's great to have moments like that! Brings the magic back. =)
