how do you get mew on red, blue and yellow versions?

hi guys. i earlier thought that mew is unobtainable except through nintendo/pokemon conventions. however, a friend said that there's a glitch in the game that you can actually get mew. does anyone know? please help.

There is a way on how to get a mew in red/blue or yellow. Just search some videos on the net and they might give you an answer. Because those videos gave me the knowledge. ^_^

It is definetely possible to get it by game shark codes, I tried and did that.

You go to Cinaba island In the sea around it you may see a strange moster It's not a pokemon Catch it then let it on the team you can met Mew

I don't believe such a glitch exist..I know you can obtain Mew through events, gameshark and action replay.

I heard about this glitch before, never tried it though. They said that glitch doesn't work at all.

The only way to get Mew that works(that i know of) is to trade Mew with someone. I think you can get Mew by some codes (Gameshark ยง action replay) but im not certain about it.

I have heard about the possible glitch way to get it, but I am not sure how to do it. I would suggest doing an internet search. I have heard though doing some of the glitch cheats can in the can in the end really mess up your game.

I used to know it by heart, but I don't recall it now; that was a long time ago. :) I would check the website gamefaqs.com for it. If that doesn't work, serebii.net might have it.
