My cat was sitting in a bag and me brother scared him so he ran. The bag got caught on him and he thought it was something chasing him. He ran around the entire house and hid under a couch for 6 hours (and counting) hissing and growling. What would you do?

I would probualy be laughing my butt off, first of all then after i was done and i realozed that the kitty was still in distress and wouldnt come out i would lift the couch up and try and get him out to calm him down if he would let you near him. Good Luck hope he calms down soon

He did. I lifted up the couch and he attacked me. Everyone in the entire house was laughing, and i don't think that helped. My dad eventualy came home and lifted up the couch and got him. For some reason my cat wasn't afraid of him.

The exact thing happened to one of my cats. I chased him and the bag around the house until I caught them. He calmed down after I detached them. I had a good laugh.

I have twice had cats "chased" by something that got attached to them. Once I managed to catch the worst of the item (a flapping peice of paper) off then get the tape it had been attached to off the cat's flank. It was VERY hard to do because I keep breaking up (well it was very funny since the cat wasn't hurt!) The other time the cat got a bag caught around his neck & he actually bruised his throat when he ran under a chair, got caught & ripped the handle off the bag. I managed to catch the cat & get the handle off his neck pretty quick. I hope the bag is nolonger attached to the cat. If it is I would venture in to remove it, if it isn't I'd leave him alone to calm down.

the best you can probably do is just wait for him o calm down :)
