Hi Lakota12 Love your avatar...I have pictures by the same artist on my office wall. I am a mylot user of 2 weeks and have been sending out friend requests to what like-minded others. When I saw your Avatar and this discussion I was surprised to see the similarity to one I posted a few days ago. I swear I did not get the idea from you, but obviously we are on the same wave length. My responses from other members were similiar to those you received. They do not believe that an omnipotent Creator and free will are oxymoronic concepts. Quite the contrary the general consensus is that our Creator is so expansive we were given free will so we can co-create with Him/Her on this plane.

Hey LKo, I'd take it as a compliment too & thank them for it b/c if theymeant to insult then your thanks to them will just kill 'em LOL I wouldn't call it an oxymoron either b/c the fact that God GAVE us free will yet has total control doesn't contitute an oxymoron to me ox·y·mo·ron noun, A rhetorical figure in which incongruous or contradictory terms are combined, as in a deafening silence and a mournful optimist. Tell 'em to look it up LOL +'s 2 U :D

You and all of us have free will we can choose to be good or bad, to be helpful or to tear another person down. GOD is everywhere and in everything, GOD knows your deepest desire, GOD the creator, the mystery maker, mysteries that we can all know and deconstruct, we can take apart and build them back up, the mysteries of Life and Love, the secret is truth.

I don't believe that believing in free will and in an omnipotent God is an oxymoron at all. Our omnipotent God GAVE us free will at his own desire, that doesn't mean that he can't do what he wants with our decisions though.
