Hard to find personal privacy anymore?

When it comes to living in a house with family members or friends, its very difficult to find privacy for private matters pertaining to yourself. And not just your "VERY personal" matters, if you know what I mean. Family members, friends or roommates popping in and popping out when you least expect them, it gets on your nerves, does it? Then even when you think that you have some time for yourself, you get interrupted AGAIN by others, and it tends to get irritating and annoying afterwards. Sometimes its something that makes your blood and stomach boil and burn that you don't know what to do. Even if you ask them not to pop in and out, you might fear embarrasment or shame, or that they might not understand at all. In this situation, what CAN you do to solve this? How can you find your personal solitude and aloneness at all when you live at home with other people who might hinder you at such a thing?
