My.son.went.into.the.garage.today.to.look.fro.his.vice.grips,.and.chased. off.a.neighbourhood.stray.cat...While.looking.he.,heard.a.scratching.sound .and.discovered.3.kittens.in.a.box.They.are.really...cute...2.are.black.and. charcoal.striped.and.the.other.has.Siamese.markings.but.with.white.mitts,. boots.and.mask...The.mother.hasn't.come.back,.yet.and.they.are.only.around. 5.weeks.old...So,.now.we.have.kittens.along.with.my.daughter's.big.dog... I.think.we're.going.to.put.them.for.sale.on.the.internet.

They are really too young to be away from their mother. If she doesn't come back, you need to consider adding a milk replacement, KMR is one, to their diet until they are a bit older.

We found the mother cat. She is content to stay in our garage out of the weather as long as we provide food and water for her,and she doesn't seem to mind us taking the kittens out to get them used to people either. But she won't let us within 6 feet of her. She bolts to the top of a cupboard the minute she hears someone enter the garage. I think our mice problem will be gone in a few weeks,though, since she must have been eating them as often as she could since the kittens appear really healthy.
