new friends and old friends?

in our life,we keep on making friends with new or strange person,and keep old friends too.I just want to know how often do you contact with this two kind of friends,are there some differences?take me for example,I seldom ring to my old friends,maybe because we live in different cities,and the distance meke the communication inconvenient.on the other hand,new friends just live around me,so when I need help,I just tell them.and we can have a party often as long as we have time.
do you think so?I think we should cherish all friends no matter old or new.

yeah,the old friends we still keep in contact must be true friends,but the new friends still needs some time.

for sure youless! i agree! old friends are those we have spent so much time with already. people who we have trusted our secrets with. and people who had been there for us for many years. and they are better to be kept than new ones... anne

i always keep my old friends in my heart. and we always try to met once in awhile. the friendship i have with them though how old, are still fresh and crisp. and we always communicated through friendster. we live in different countries already. but through the internet, we are able to update each other all the time. and it's fun to see and meet up once in awhile. too much cathching up to do!
i do have new friends, too. but i do go out with them as well. but they aren't that close to me. they are just there to hang out with but when it comes to talks about the heart, i don't really share much to them about it.. anne

how I admire you,for me,because I and my old friends live in different cities,then we can not meet once in a year or more,we have our own bussiness to to,we do not have enough time to meet.

Old friends cannot be forgotton specially if they are childhhod friends.A friendship which occurs in childhood is specially selfless one & real one.I can't forget my friends.I still remember each of them even if there are always new friends coming in our life.

Sometimes the new friends can help you in time when you are in the diffcult position.I don't ring my old friend very often,either.I think that is because we are so acquaintant with each other that there is not too much to talk.But when we meet again,we are still very good friend,we don't blame each other for the limited communication.The old friend i think we should cherish more.:)
