make up removal... quick and easy way... saves money too!

I never really put much thought into this till last weekend, when I had to put on some make up for my wedding photo shoot. I was out shopping with my wife and noticed that there is a wide range of products on makeup removal. And the makeup removal solutions don't come cheap! In order to thoroughly remove makeup, women, in general uses quite a lot of these solutions to clean up their faces of any traces of cosmetics they put on their faces at the end of the day. I was wondering, what is so special about the removal solution? Why are beauticians and women's magazines advocating the use of only makeup removal solution to remove makeup before washing the face? When I was in the army, we had to make up our faces too, with those creamy camouflage sticks or those waxy ones. At the end of the day, all we did was to use a facial scrub to scrub the face before washing it with soap and water to clean away the camouflage. So the other day, when we finished our photo shoot for the wedding, I had to remove my make up too. Had a debate with my over make up removal. So to prove to her there is a cheaper way to remove make up, I had her try my method. 1) remove any fake eyelashes 2) use a facial scrub to wash out the make up 3) Rinse again with a normal face cleanser We then use the make up removal solution to swap our face. The cotton was clean! all the makeup was removed. And the facial scrub and cleanser only cost a fraction of what the makeup removal solution cost!! There you have it! Same results, cheaper solution!
