it has been a couple of years now since his "airnes" retired, will someone finally be the next MJ? alot of players were expected even wgen Michael Jordan was still playing, from penny hardaway, Grant hill, and Jerry Stackhouse and Kobe, Wade, LeBron. Who came the closest? Who's ganna be the next?

I have still have not seen a player that could equal MJ's tenacity and love for the game...He plays his heart every single night and plays to win every night.True, some guys are better in skill level like Kobe...their difference with His Airness was he was a winner on and off the court...You could see it in how he played and composed himself....

You seem to have left Jason Kidd off of the list of really great players....Regardless, I don't know why people want to pick the next Michael Jordan. Michael was a very good player but there can only be one original. What happens is a player dominates and another player comes along and perfects that players style. I don't ever recall hearing anyone say who will be the next Julius Irving or Magic Johnson...And, just where do people think Jordan got his game from? No, there will not be another Jordan. James, Wade, Kobe none of them will be the next Jordan. If they want to be infamous for all of man-kind and to surpass Jordan, they better forget it b/c it won't happen. True sports fan know none of the above mentioned, could ever compete on the same stage as your more experienced and ALL AROUND players like Jordan, Bird, Irving, Johnson, Olajawan, Russel, etc.

I have heard a lot of people say that Lebron will be the next MJ. But to me, Kobe I think is better and closer. What he needs is just the leadership of a general.
