At last they did the right thing by excluding Virender Sehwag from the team. He has not been peforming well for quite some time, around two years but he has been kept in the team for his past performances only and nothing else. He definitely does not deserve a place in the team with his current form and the way he plays. I hope he will not be brought back to the team immediately without any reason. He should be out of the team for some time, until he learns a lesson and play well in the domestic circuit and earns in place through merit rather than through his past performances. He used to be a devastating player some years ago but now he is not that kinda player that he used to be, hence this is a very good decision by not selecting sehwag. Regarding Harbhajan he needs a little more discipline and should be thought a good lesson. He definitely lacks a lot of discipline. His exclusion was also really a good one.

I think that it was a bad move to drop Shewag and Irfan Pathan.Shewag as he could win the match single handed. He is in good form but might be the selectors want to pick him when he becomes consistent.Irfan Pathan should have been given chance in England he is the best swing bowler available in our country. If it was some where else it is ok to drop him but no point in dropping him for England tour.Harbhajan has to prove that he still has the ability in him to take wickets consistently at crucial times so it is good to drop Harbhajan.

No doubt these are great players but there is good or bad time in everybody's life. They are just passing in bad time. They are failures in recent tours.Reasons may be many.I am sure they will make their return very soon. They are world class players.Indian Cricket can't survive without these players.Their exclusion from India team make them to think their shortcomings and they improve a lot. Thus i think in and out should not be the problem.Everyone should be given chance.Players must be given time to ponder about their performance..Consistence performance is required from everyone.

This decision should have been made long time back. I wonder why tendulkar was not included in the list. Politics ? You never know. Whether its going to help team India only time will tell...
