Your children spend a good part of their growing years in school. A good mom cheers their children along from the sidelines. A GREAT mom runs right along with them. If you have chosen to homeschool your children , support them by going to conferences, keeping in contact with local school districts about changing laws, and Connecting with other local homeschoolers. If your children are in public or private schools, get to know the teachers and school board. As your schedule allows, volunteer to help out in the classroom. You can read for the class, bake cookies, help with parties, or go on field trips with the class. Look at your children's textbooks so you have an idea of what they are learning and be prepared to help them with their homework.
