It really bugs me when people who have English as their first language don't know the difference between to, too, two, your and you're. Examples: "You have TO the washroom?" "Amy and I are coming TOO" "I have TWO apples" "YOU'RE my bestfriend!" "YOUR jacket is nice"

I think what happens there is people typing too fast and resultingly typing on auto piolet and they aren't really paying attention to what they are writing. It happens to me, sometimes I will tpye a word that is close to that word I meant to type but is actually a different word like what you are referring to, but also with things like typing "something" instead of "sometimes". Then there are also the people that just didn't pay enough attention in highschool english grammer class I guess.

We all make mistakes and lets face it we get to typing and our fingers are flying over the keys and presto spelling mistakes because your fingers seem to have a mind of their own. If it is this difficult for native English speakers imagine how difficult it must be for English as a second language speakers to understand and grasp. To that end I have started a discussion in this interest group title How many words can you come up with. The idea being that non native english members will be posting the words they have the most difficulty in English and the native english speakers will then define and explain those words. Come on over and help us out I already have learned a few new things
