It is very easy to get design to a very good profile. All you need is htm language. Any how same profile may look different to the IE and Firefox. So try to select one browser and do the designing by using html. First collect pics and make them hosted with shareapic or flicr and get the htm to design as you wish.

I just got my profile pimped through www.pimpmyprofile.com and www.profilemods.com. You could do the same, just visit the said links and you can chose whatever backgrounds or layouts there to put in your profile to make it looking cool and new with it's styles. After you have chose the best layout for you to put on your profile, just go to the add content on your profile then from there you could start right then, you only need to copy and paste the code of your chosen layout. Yes you are right, after mylot gave the features of using HTML and other features people here are really making use of it. For me am poor at it so am just leaving it as the way it is, i mean simple as am not creative or could not do the desigining. I really like the feature of background music, i really want to have that in mine also.
