Do you believe animals have souls?

Animals definitely have personalities and they have feelings and intellect also. I don't know that they have souls but I cannot definitively say that they don't. It's hard to think of animals as having souls because I do enjoy eating them. It isn't pleasant to think of killing an intelligent being with a purpose on this earth just to eat them.

I believe that they do, they have feelings and emotions just like us, so why not a soul.
