What's your favorite type of cake?

With so many different flavors, do you have a particular flavor that just makes your mouth water? While I am a sucker for just about every flavor there is (I just love cake!) I am particularly partial to lemon cake with lemon icing! Problem is that no one else in my family really likes it, so I don't want to bake an entire lemon cake and have it sitting around just for me. I think I might just go ahead and bake one and take it to work. There's bound to be a few people in our building who also like lemon cake!

i really like sweets, and cakes are sweets! lol..
i like cheese cakes. i also like carrot cakes. i even like birthday cakes-those that have boiled icings.. lol.. i also like the plain chocolate cake.
any cake, as long as it takes good, i can try and eat. =D

My favorite is plain and simple Chocolate with vanilla icing or chocolate icing i am not too picky about the icing part LOL. what makes a better chocalte cake make it into a icecream chocolate cake with chocolate crumb layers and chocolate ice cream yummmmmmyyyy!!!!! LOL Now i think i will have to go to Dairy Queen LOL lemon cake sounds good too. my mother would love it.

one of my favorite cakes is the pandan cake . i just love the flavor and the taste which is delicate, and as important to Asians as vanilla is to the Westerners. the distinct aroma of pandan is so appealing that it is said to be a restorative, deodorant, indolent and phylactic, promoting a feeling of wellbeing. the cake is naturally prepared from extracts of the pandan leaves without using too much sugars and icing on it. i do not like cakes with too much icings on it.

i love chocolate cake very much. with chocolate filling and chocolate cream that's just heavenly. there are a lot of bakeshops that has their own specialty cakes, one that i love to frequent is the chocolate kiss resto, they have their own cake called the devil's food cake.. its very famous in our office because of their great cakes. i also like chocolate truffles from sugarhouse... aside from the more common cakes i also love cheesecakes.. blueberry cheesecakes... yumm!

my favorite cake is ice cream birth day cake it's soo good. I love it. I wish i could eat it everyday but im afraid that's i'll gain weight. But i really love it. I hope i can make it so... i can eat it everday. And my second favorite cake is Strawberry shortcake it's really too.

Lemon poppy seed is my all time favorite but lemon cake with lemon icing. I can almost taste it.
I also like a good yellow cake with chocolate icing.

I love cakes. Actually there might be no one who not loves cakes. My favourite cake is plum cake and chocolate icing cake. That don't mean that I don't like other flavours, I love all flavours.

I like all kind of cakes. Especially, i like the vanilla flavored cake very much. I eat a cake, atleast once in two days.

I am a huge cake fan too! I love just about any kind of cake, but I think my favorite kind to make is yellow cake with chocolate frosting. If I'm getting a store bought cake though, then I like white or yellow cake with white frosting. I really just like bakery white frosting for some reason, lol.

My favorite is German Chocolate Cake. Some people think it's just chocolate cake with the coconut pecan style icing on it, but it's a different chocolate cake altogether. It has German's chocolate which is a semi-sweet chocolate and a bit of sour cream in it,which gives it a different taste and texture. It also has the icing that is awesome.
My second favorite was a white cake with a white icing covered with coconut that my grandmother used to make.
