how to write medical equipment specifications?

I am looking for a template and a guidance document on how to write technical speciications for medical equipment. I would need these for medical equipment like MRI, CT, Ultrasound, operation theatre equipment, brain suites, anesthesia equipments, etc. In fact i want it for all the medical equipment which goes into a hospital.
